Shaan, I think, is today's Mahendra Kapoor! In spite of having such a unique and lovely voice that even fits so many of the contemporary actors, he has got far less songs than he should have.
Mahendra Kapoor actually got much more songs to sing in his time than Shaan, but even that was because of Rafi's disputes with B.R. Chora, O.P. Nayyar and Lata.
But whatever few songs Shaan has sung, are super melodious and stand out in their own way.
